Ashland Strawberry Faire
Antique Vendor Information
The Ashland Strawberry Faire wishes to invite you to apply to its 28th annual Faire on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Faire will be held on the streets adjacent to the campus of Randolph Macon College in downtown Ashland.
We are looking for good quality antiques, collectibles and reproductions. Please, no flea market items.
The Faire committee anticipates a good attendance with widespread publicity planned, including scenes from last year’s Faire on local television. Also, newspaper and radio promotions throughout the Richmond and Fredricksburg are should help ensure another successful turnout.
1. The entry fee is $60.00
2. All space assignments are 10 x 10 ft. and are marked. Additional spaces if available are $60.00 each.
3. The Faire will be held rain or shine. It is suggested that you bring a tent to protect your property in case of rain.
4. Prizes will be awarded for antique booths in the amounts of $75, $50, and $25 for the best displays.
5. Deadline for receipt of applications is May 1st. You will be sent notification of your assigned placement.
6. The Faire committee is not responsible for liability of exhibitors or their property.
7. The exhibitor is responsible for the collection of Virginia State sales tax.
8. Exhibitors shall remit:
a. Check for entry fee
b. Application form
c. Self-addressed business size envelope
No application will be processed if any of these are omitted.
The committee looks forward to your participation in the 2008 Ashland Strawberry Faire. Applications and general information sheets are enclosed. Please let us know, when possible, what your booth’s specialty will be. The information will be used in our advance publicity.
